Our History
Founded in 1975 under the name Soudure Bon Conseil by Bernard Jutras, the company initially operated in general welding and agricultural machinery repair, meeting the needs of the local sector. Over the years, it has evolved and diversified its expertise to better serve its customers.
As early as 1980, the company began specializing in the installation of truck equipment, including hydraulic, blower, and vacuum systems—marking a key milestone in its industrial development.
The year 2000 marked a major turning point with the company’s name change to Multi Van Drummond Inc. This new identity was accompanied by the beginning of the design and manufacturing of compartmentalized tanker semi-trailers for grain transportation, positioning the company as a specialized and recognized player in its field.
In 2004, to support its growth, Multi Van Drummond Inc. moved into new facilities in Notre-Dame-du-Bon-Conseil. The company established itself in a modern 24,000-square-foot plant, equipped with specialized equipment and infrastructure suited for metalwork.
In 2013, Pascal Jutras officially joined his father in the company’s management, ensuring family succession and the continuity of its expertise.
In 2015, Multi Van Drummond Inc. initiated a new strategic shift by adopting a refreshed brand image, better aligned with its evolution and the demands of the market.
In 2025, the company entered a new era as Pascal Jutras transferred ownership of Multi Van Drummond Inc. to Mr. Louca Cardinal, paving the way for a new phase of growth.
Finally, in January 2026, Multi Van Drummond Inc. officially relocated to new facilities to optimize the manufacturing of its tankers and provide even more efficient customer service. The company is now located at 3100 Route 122, Saint-Cyrille, QC, Canada, J1Z 1G7—modern facilities designed to meet the needs of today and tomorrow.
